Noting Down Relevant Specification Artifacts

Requirements Manager captures the functional requirements of a data integration project with the help of Specification Artifacts. You can make a note of these specification artifacts relevant to the mapping specification.

To keep a note of specification artifacts relevant to a mapping specification, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Application Menu > Data Catalog > Mapping Manager.
  2. Under the Workspace Mappings pane, click the required map.
  3. At the bottom of the central pane, you can locate the Additional Mapping Information pane.

  4. Expand the Additional Mapping Information pane.
  5. Use to scroll right.
  6. Click the Specification Artifacts tab and click .
  7. The following page appears.

  8. In the right pane, expand the Specification Templates Catalog pane and drag and drop the required specification.
  9. Click .
  10. The Specification Artifacts information is saved.
